Clare Ellen O'Neil (born 12 September 1980) is an Australian politician who is the Minister for Housing and Minister for Homelessness since July 2024, Minister for Cities since May 2025 and was the Minister for Home Affairs and Minister for Cyber Security from June 2022 to July 2024. She is a member of the Australian Labor Party (ALP) and has been a member of the House of Representatives since 2013, representing the Victorian seat of Hotham. O'Neil became mayor of the City of Greater Dandenong in 2004, aged 23, becoming the youngest female mayor in Australian history.
